Pacific Event Cruises is a boutique event agency staging poker nights, tournaments and casino receptions aboard chartered liners on the Coral Sea. This is who we are and how we got here.
A decade of events, distilled
From a single chartered yacht with one hired dealer to a fleet partnership covering four vessels and a season calendar that players plan their year around.
The first sailing
Twelve guests, one dealer and a borrowed roulette wheel on a sunset charter out of Cairns. Every guest rebooked. The format never fundamentally changed.
The championship is born
Our first ranked tournament launched with a A$10,000 guarantee and sold out in nine days. The season calendar and leaderboard followed within the year.
The salon opens
The high-roller salon took the upper deck: six tables, private cashier, suite guests. It created the format our most loyal players now organise their travel around.
Four vessels, one standard
Today we stage events aboard four vessels from a single-table yacht to the 350-guest flagship, all run to the same standard: professional dealers, honest structures, commercial hospitality.
The standards every event runs on
Licensed dealing
Floor staff come from licensed Queensland casino rooms. Rulings are logged and season standings are auditable.
Maritime safety
Vessels operate under their masters' authority with full safety briefings, certified crews and insured passage.
Age verification
Real-money formats verify 18+ at check-in and again at the gaming floor. Responsible play rules apply always.
Written terms
Published cancellation windows, tournament rules and privacy commitments. No surprises at the table or after.
One desk for everything
Every booking gets a named contact who answers within one business hour and stays with the event until the last guest departs. The same people who book your table run your evening.

The reef is the venue, so we protect it
Our livelihood sails over the Great Barrier Reef, which means environmental practice is a commercial decision as much as an ethical one. Voyage partners are chosen for fuel-efficient itineraries, tender operations follow reef-safe protocols, and the fleet avoids single-use plastics entirely.

Join the crew behind the room
We hire dealers, event hosts, galley staff and coordinators seasonally. Casino-room experience helps for dealing roles; hospitality temperament matters more than a resume everywhere else.

Corporate account managers cover southeast Queensland and New South Wales for summit and charter bookings.
International guests
Roughly a fifth of our manifest travels from overseas. The concierge handles time zones, transfers and arrival days.

The Ocean Elite card
Guests who sail three or more times a season are invited into the member circle: priority seating, cabin upgrades, salon access windows and the annual member's table at the Grand Final.
