These terms form the agreement between you and Pacific Event Cruises Pty Ltd when you book or attend one of our events. They cover the commercial relationship: bookings, payments, conduct and what happens when plans change. Our privacy policy and legal notice sit alongside them.
1. Bookings and confirmation
A booking is confirmed when we issue a written confirmation with your manifest details. Verbal holds and tentative dates expire after seven days unless a deposit has been paid.
Charter and private event bookings are governed by a signed event agreement that sits alongside these terms. Where the agreement and these terms differ, the agreement prevails.
All passengers must be named on the manifest before boarding. Unregistered guests cannot board under maritime rules, with no exceptions.
2. Pricing and payment
Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Published prices reflect the fare at the time of booking; inclusions are listed per format on the price page.
Public events require payment in full at booking. Charters and private events follow the payment schedule in the event agreement, typically a deposit with the balance due before the event date.
Buy-ins for real-money formats are paid at the cashier desk aboard and are separate from the booking fare unless expressly included.
3. Cancellations and changes
Guest cancellations follow the schedule in our refund policy: full refund more than 30 days out, partial credit within 30 days, and transfer options in all cases.
If we cancel a sailing, you choose between a full refund and a credit for any future date within 18 months. Weather that causes a vessel itinerary change is handled under the voyage conditions, not as a cancellation.
We may substitute vessels, adjust routes or reschedule events where operationally necessary, with notice given as early as practicable.
4. Age and conduct
Guests must be 18 or older to participate in real-money gaming formats. Photo identification is required at check-in and again at the gaming floor.
We reserve the right to refuse service to intoxicated, abusive or disruptive guests, and to remove them from the manifest at the next safe port without refund where safety requires.
Responsible play applies at every table. Self-exclusion and limit requests are honoured by our floor staff and can be arranged confidentially in advance.
5. Tournament rules
Tournament play follows the published structure for each event: blind schedules, payout percentages and conduct rules distributed at the player briefing.
Floor rulings are final during play and are logged for review. Collusion, chip dumping and angle shooting result in disqualification and exclusion from future events.
Season leaderboard standings are compiled from logged results and are final once published following each event.
6. Voyage conditions
Maritime operations are conducted by the vessel operator under their conditions of carriage, issued at booking. Passage is subject to weather, mechanical and regulatory conditions beyond our control.
Itineraries, anchorages and reef stops are indicative and adjust for safety and conditions. The gaming programme aboard continues regardless of itinerary variations.
Passengers must comply with crew safety directions at all times while aboard.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law. Beyond that, our liability is limited to the cost of the booked service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Personal property remains the guest's responsibility. The vessel provides secure storage for valuables at the cashier desk during gaming sessions.
Guests participate in water and deck activities at their own risk within the safety framework provided.
8. General provisions
These terms are governed by Queensland law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
We may update these terms with notice on this page. Terms in force at your booking date apply to that booking.
