The voyage roadmap
How the season is built: from opening satellites through the championship legs to the Grand Final, and where the agency is heading next.
A season in five movements
The calendar is designed as a ladder. Casual players enter at themed nights, satellites feed the championship legs, leaderboard points decide seeding, and the season ends on the aft deck at the Grand Final.
See the calendarSatellites and open nights
The season begins with low buy-in qualifiers aboard themed nights. Anyone can enter; the winners take seats into the first championship leg and everyone else finds their level early.
The early championship
Two ranked two-night legs aboard Pacific Sovereign establish the leaderboard. Early points matter less than consistency; the top half of the field stays in contention through winter.
The salon windows
Between legs, the high-roller salon opens its six tables for invitation sessions. These sail outside the leaderboard but shape the season's reputation more than anything else we run.
Legs three and four
The back half of the championship runs alongside reef voyage departures, letting travelling players combine the series with the holiday. Points double at leg four to keep the final honest.
The Grand Final
The season closes with the flagship's biggest field, seeded entries, the member's table and a final under lights on the aft deck. Season standings are published the same night.
The next three seasons
A second flagship leg
A fifth championship leg is planned for the next calendar, spreading the season across eleven months and easing pressure on the December final.
Interstate home ports
Brisbane and Sydney departure trials are in planning, taking championship legs to the players instead of asking every field to fly to Cairns.
A Pacific circuit
The end-state is a South Pacific circuit with partner fleets, letting the leaderboard travel across ports and seasons rather than a single calendar.
Your own route through the season
Nobody is required to follow the ladder. Half our guests sail a single themed night and never touch a leaderboard; the season pass exists for players who want the whole arc. Both are the right way to do it.
- Themed nights: one evening, zero commitment
- Single legs: enter any championship sailing
- Season pass: every leg, points carried through
Season questions
Where a voyage actually goes
Multi-day formats follow the reef line north: out of Cairns past the harbour lights, overnight at Port Douglas, day anchorages at the cays, and home with the evening series played against the sunset.
Three nights on the water
Day one

Day two
Reef tenders at nine, lunch aboard, afternoon satellites, and the evening's biggest field.
Day three
A late brunch, the decider at anchor off Fitzroy, and the sail home with prizes settled.
